Abstract:
A jitter applying device generates an output signal to which a jitter has been applied.
The jitter applying device comprises a first oscillator for generating a first
frequency signal, a second oscillator for generating a second frequency signal
having a different frequency from that of the first frequency signal, and a switching
unit for switching at every predetermined timing whether to output the first
frequency signal or the second frequency signal and outputting the first frequency
signal or the second frequency signal as an output signal.
