Abstract:
A motorized prosthetic leg (1) comprises: a below-knee member (110); an above-knee member (120); a knee joint mechanism (130) coupling the below-knee member (110) and the above-knee member (120) such that the angle therebetween can be changed; and an expansion/contraction device (140) capable of changing the angle between the below-knee member (110) and the above-knee member (120) through expansion and contraction, wherein one side of the expansion/contraction device (140) in the extension direction is mechanically connected to the below-knee member (110), and the other side is mechanically connected to the above-knee member (120). When the smaller minimum angle among the angle formed by the below-knee member (110) and the above-knee member (120) about a rotary part (135) of the knee joint mechanism (130) is a second angle (θ2), at least a part of the expansion/contraction device (140) is disposed on a first angle (θ1) side.
