Abstract:
In the present invention, a keyboard unit 1 is provided with pushbuttons 2 and a case 3 that supports the side surfaces of the pushbuttons 2, wherein the pushbuttons 2 project from openings 4 provided on the case 3. Gaps 12 between the side surfaces of the pushbuttons 2 and the wall surfaces of the case 3, through the provision of a slant 11 to the wall surfaces of the openings 4 provided on the case 3, widen in the direction of the interior of the keyboard unit 1 such that foreign materials collected in gaps 12 can move to the interior of the keyboard unit 1. The side surfaces of the pushbuttons 2 are open to the interior of the keyboard unit 1.
