Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a kit and a method that can avoid the influence of blood-borne antibodies such as anti-serum albumin antibodies and determine, with high precision, the quantity of a substance to be assayed in a biological sample. The present invention provides a kit for determining the quantity of a substance to be assayed in a biological sample. The kit includes: labeling particles that include a first blocking agent and a first binding substance that binds to the substance to be assayed; and a substrate that includes a detection region that includes a second blocking agent and a second binding substance that binds to the substance to be assayed or to the first binding substance. The first blocking agent and the second blocking agent are different.
