Abstract:
This refractory elastomer composition contains an elastomer, thermally expandable graphite, a salt of a phosphorus oxo acid, and an inorganic filler for reinforcement. The quotient of the total amount of inorganic filler for reinforcement and thermally expandable graphite and the amount of the salt of a phosphorus oxo acid is 0.7-10, the tensile strength at 23°C is 1.0 N/mm2 or higher, and the expansion ratio after combustion is 15× or higher.
