Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a kitchen device capable of performing self-diagnosis of an inappropriate component; and a self-diagnostic method for such an inappropriate component. In the kitchen device according to one embodiment of the present invention, at least two spaces are connected to each other in such a manner as to allow a fluid to move from one space into the other. The kitchen device is provided with: a weight scale which measures weight on the side of the other space; and a diagnostic unit which measures, with the weight scale, a change in weight when moving the fluid from one space into the other and which performs a diagnostic on the device condition on the basis of measured weight change.
