Abstract:
A peeling unit (10) of a label printer is provided with a metal nip roller shaft (11), a resin nip roller (12) that is disposed in the central portion of the nip roller shaft and is pivotally supported so as to be able to turn with respect to the nip roller shaft, and resin supports (13) for supporting the two ends of the nip roller shaft, and the peeling unit is installed on a main body case (2) so as to be capable of relative movement between a normal printing position and a peeled printing position. In each of the paired supports, the portion protruding towards the nip roller is formed as a roller holding part (13d) into which an end of the nip roller shaft is inserted. Said roller holding part is integrally molded with the support to improve the strength of the support.
