Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to facilitate good image pickup by downloading a desired protocol from the protocol database of a server. The present invention is a protocol distribution system: with which at least one medical image diagnostic apparatus and a server provided with a protocol database, in which data for multiple protocols are stored, are connected to each other via a network; and in which the protocol database can be searched for good protocols for a search objective from the medical image diagnostic apparatus, and detailed data for a desired protocol selected from the search results can be downloaded to the medical image diagnostic apparatus from the protocol database. The protocol database stores supplementary information for each protocol. The server transmits the supplementary information for each protocol to the medical image diagnostic apparatus. The medical image diagnostic apparatus displays the supplementary information for each protocol when displaying the protocols or when a desired protocol is selected.
