Abstract:
The laminate web comprising a polymer film layer (21) comprising polymer film, a nonwoven layer (20) comprising a nonwoven web, a first side (3) comprising the polymer film, a second side (5) opposed to the first side (3) comprising the nonwoven web, and a plurality of first elements (4) extending from the polymer film. When web may comprise a plurality of second elements (7) such as recesses (7R), protrusions (7P), apertures, embossing and combinations thereof; The recesses (7R) may extend below the second side (5) of the laminate web, so that a bottom area (10) of each of the recesses (7R) is below the second side (5) of the laminate web. Each of the recesses (7R) may comprise a bottom area (10) and at least one first element (4) wherein the first element (4) has an open proximal end; The protrusions (7P) have no material break between two adjacent first elements (4). The web may have one or more than one first element (4) having an open distal end at least 1.5 times larger than the largest distal open end of a first element (4) in a land between the two adjacent second elements (7). The web may comprise a median distance between two adjacent fibers (18) in a direction of above about 55μm when measured according to the Fiber-Fiber Distance Measurement.
