Abstract:
A lane-maintaining control device performs lane-maintaining control so as to detect the lane width (H1) of a travel lane (21) using a camera (4) and prevent any departure from the lane width (H1). When it is detected, using the camera (4), that the travel lane (21) is gradually widening (lane width (H2), where H2>H1), the lane-maintaining control device continues the lane-maintaining control provided that the turn indicator is not in operation.
