Abstract:

The present invention proposes a lap laser welding joint, a method for manufacturing the same, and an automobile chassis structure member having said welding joint, wherein, when forming a welded section, in which a linear first joining section and straight successive joining sections continuous with the first joining section are arranged in rows, by intermittently emitting a laser beam onto a surface on one side of a steel plate in which a plurality of steel plates are stacked, at least a total gap G between the steel plates constituting the welded sections is within a range of 0-15% of a total thickness T of the steel plates constituting the welded sections; the movement direction of a welding head emitting the laser beam is set so as to be opposite of the scanning direction of the laser beam, thereby forming a welded section in which a welding start end section of the first joining section faces a welding stop end section of the successive joining section adjacent to said first joining section and welding start end sections and welding stop end sections of the successive joining sections face each other; and outstanding peel strength with no cracking in the welding stop end sections of the joining sections is achieved by controlling the various dimensions of the joining sections so as to be within an appropriate range.
