A large-set pipe bending apparatus and an implementation method therefor. The apparatus comprises a working platform plate (1); an electric motor (11), a speed reducer (12) and a bracket (13) are connected to the bottom of the working platform plate (1); a loose tooling mounting seat (2) and a stop rod seat (3), which are arranged side by side, are mounted on a top surface of the working platform plate (1); and a hole for inserting a pipe head is formed at the position where a locking rod (523) and a locking cover plate (525) are connected, and one port of the pipe head is fixed at the hole. A strip-shaped groove of a loose tooling (41) is provided in a vertical direction; the slope of the strip-shaped groove is equal to the slope of a guiding inclined rod (513); the guiding inclined rod (513) is provided in an inclined manner, so as to make a locking assembly (52) slide along the guiding inclined rod (513); and a motor (511) drives a first lead screw (512) to rotate in a reverse direction while bending, and the locking rod (523) slowly ascends along the guiding inclined rod (513), so as to drive a pipe body to bend in a spiral manner.
