Abstract:
A laryngoscope system comprising: a laryngoscope device (1) having a handle member (2) and a front-end member (4), wherein the front-end member (4) comprises: a longitudinal member (5) connected with the handle member (2), the longitudinal member (5) comprising a channel (6); a sliding part (7) comprising an imaging device (18) and/or a lighting device (19) at a distal end (7b), the sliding part (7) being configured to be at least partially inserted in the channel (6) and movable along said channel (6), the channel (6) comprising an abutment (8) and a positioning spring (9) between said abutment (8) and a proximal end (7a) of the sliding part (7); a blade assembly (10) configured to cooperate with the front-end member (4) of the laryngoscope device (1), the blade assembly (10) comprising, fixed to one another: a blade (11) comprising a distal tip (16); an insertion housing (12) comprising a cavity configured to receive the front-end member (4) of the laryngoscope device (1); wherein the insertion housing (12) includes an engaging element (13) having an edge configured to cooperate with the distal end (5b) of the longitudinal member (5), the edge of the engaging element (13) being positioned at a predefined distance from the distal tip (16) of the blade (11).
