Abstract:
A semiconductor laser oscillator is constituted by arranging laser diodes in two-dimensional fashion in a fast axis and slow axis direction. A laser beam that is emitted from the semiconductor laser oscillator is directed into a homogeniser. The homogeniser collects the laser beam into an elongate optical input region of the illuminated surface. The homogeniser divides the laser beam into a plurality of beams in relation to the short axis direction of the optical input region and inputs this plurality of divided beams into the optical input region in superimposed fashion on the illuminated surface. The slow axis direction of the semiconductor laser oscillator is inclined with respect to the long axis direction of the optical input region.
