Abstract:

This laser irradiation system comprises: a search irradiation unit that irradiates an object with search light; a laser irradiation unit that emits a laser beam; an image acquisition unit that acquires a first image obtained by capturing the object irradiated with the search light and a second image obtained by capturing an imaging range which includes the object; a generation unit that generates an image less affected by disturbance light than the first image, on the basis of the first and second images; and an irradiation control unit that controls the direction in which the laser beam is emitted by the laser irradiation unit, on the basis of the generated image. In addition, in this laser irradiation system, the intensity of the search light imaged in the second image is lower than that of the search light imaged in the first image.
