Abstract:
The present invention relates to a laser notching system for manufacturing secondary batteries, wherein electrode tabs are formed on one side of an electrode by a notching process by horizontally irradiating laser with respect to the ground, thereby allowing easy removal of scrap and foreign substances generated during the notching process and improving productivity and precision. The laser notching system for manufacturing secondary batteries, according to the present invention, may comprise: a laser irradiator for irradiating laser; a jig base fixedly installed at one side of the laser irradiator; a pattern jig having a cylindrical shape with an outer surface, wherein an electrode is closely adhered to the outer surface to be guided, and tab processing holes through which laser passes are formed in one side portion or both side portions of the outer surface along a circumferential direction, and having a rotation axis having both center portions rotatably connected to the jig base so as to support and guide the electrode at the same time while making rotational movement about the rotation axis; a pivoting unit which rotates the pattern jig by transferring a force of rotation to the rotation axis of the pattern jig; and a scrap capturing unit which is arranged below the tab processing holes of the pattern jig to absorb and remove scrap and foreign substances cut from side portions of the electrode.
