LAYERED PRODUCT
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2006/001354
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A layered product comprising a resin base and formed on the surface thereof a cured layer obtained from a coating composition, characterized in that the coating composition comprises (A) an antimony pentaoxide sol, (B) a silicon compound represented by the following general formula (1): R1R2aSi(OR3)3-a (1) (wherein R1 is C6-30 alkyl or C6-30 alkenyl; R2 is C1-5 alkyl, C1-5 cycloalkyl, C1-5 alkenyl, or aryl; R3 is hydrogen or C1-4 alkyl; and a is an integer of 0-2), (C) an epoxidized silicon compound, (D) an organic solvent, and (E) an acetylacetonato complex and that the resin base is selected among ones made of (meth)acrylic resins, allyl resins, and epoxy resins. This layered product is extremely useful as a plastic lens. The coating composition is less affected by water. Even when the coating composition is applied in a high-humidity atmosphere or after having absorbed water, it gives a coating film (cured layer) which suffers no blushing and has excellent thermal shock resistance. The layered product can retain the satisfactory cured layer.
