Abstract:
Provided is a lead-acid storage battery system and a lead-acid storage battery life estimation method capable of accurately estimating a remaining life of a lead-acid storage battery by calculating a capacity turnover value during operation (CT value during operation), taking into account at least one of an upper limit SOC and an upper limit voltage. A capacity turnover value calculating unit (138), (237), (337) of a lead-acid storage battery system (S) calculates the CT value during operation using at least one of a correction factor KHSOC based on an upper limit SOC, calculated on the basis of the upper limit SOC, which is an SOC having the largest value when a lead-acid storage battery (B) is charged, and a correction factor KHV based on an upper limit voltage, calculated on the basis of the upper limit voltage, which is the highest voltage when the lead-acid storage battery (B) is charged.
