Abstract:
Provided is a lead alloy which can be used to manufacture a lead storage battery electrode, the growth of which can be easily predicted. The diffraction intensity in crystal orientation {211} <111> in a pole figure created by analyzing the surface of this lead alloy by means of an X-ray diffraction method is five times or less of the diffraction intensity in a random orientation in a pole figure created by analyzing pure lead powder by means of the X-ray diffraction method.
