Abstract:
A rider assistance control device 1011, for obstacles, with which a leanable vehicle 1001 is equipped controls assisted braking force so as to result in at least one of relationship (1) and relationship (2) below. Relationship (1): When the front brake is eased off while a braking force, including an assisted braking force, is being generated by both the front brake and the rear brake or by only the front brake, at least the front braking force being generated by the front brake is reduced at least on the basis of the amount of front brake application and a safety margin obtained on the basis of the relationship between an obstacle 2001 and the vehicle 1001. Relationship (2): When the rear brake is eased off while a braking force, including assisted braking force, is being generated by both the front brake and the rear brake or by only the rear brake, at least the rear braking force being generated by the rear brake is reduced at least on the basis of the amount of rear brake application and a safety margin obtained on the basis of the relationship between an obstacle and the vehicle.
