Title:
LED DISPLAY DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2023/120321
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is an LED display device capable of improving light use efficiency with a small number of constituent elements and a simple configuration. This LED display device comprises: an LED array formed by arranging, on a substrate, a plurality of light-emitting diodes for emitting excitation light of wavelengths shorter than 420 nm; a color conversion layer; a wavelength-selective reflection layer disposed on the side opposite to the LED array of the color conversion layer; and an RGB reflection layer disposed closer to the LED array side than the color conversion layer. The color conversion layer has a red conversion region for emitting red light, a green conversion region for emitting green light, and a blue conversion region for emitting blue light, which are respectively disposed at positions corresponding to the light-emitting diodes of the LED array and excited by the excitation light, and further has partition walls that demarcate the respective regions. The height h of the partition walls is 20 μm or less, the ratio w/h of a width w between the partition walls to the height is 2 or more, the wavelength-selective reflection layer selectively reflects light of the wavelength of the excitation light and is integrally formed at a position corresponding to each of the regions, and the RGB reflection layer reflects light of wavelengths of at least 450-650 nm.
