Abstract:
Disclosed is an LED light source device wherein a light quantity in a light outputting region is at a predetermined level or more and is uniform. The LED light source device (1) is provided with: an ultraviolet LED array (3) having an LED parallel disposed region (R) wherein LEDs (10) that emit ultraviolet rays toward the front are provided in parallel; and a light transmitting member (4), which is provided so as to face the front side of the LED parallel disposed region (R) of the ultraviolet LED array (3), has a rectangular parallelepiped outer shape, and is formed of a material containing quartz. The front surface (10a) of the LED (10) is provided with an outputting surface (S), which is surrounded by an end section (11) having a predetermined width (H) and outputs ultraviolet rays. The edge of the light transmitting member (4) is positioned at any position between the position inside of the edge of the LED parallel disposed region (R) of the ultraviolet LED array (3) by 1/2 of the predetermined width (H), and the position outside of the edge by 1/2 of the predetermined width (H) when viewed from the front.
