Abstract:
Provided are a left atrial appendage occluder (1000, 2000, 3000) having an improved connection method and a manufacturing method thereof. The left atrial appendage occluder (1000, 2000, 3000) comprises a sealing portion (1100, 2100, 3100, 4100, 5100, 6100, 7100) and an anchor portion (1200, 2200, 3200, 5200, 6200, 7200). Each of the sealing portion (1100, 2100, 3100, 4100, 5100, 6100, 7100) and the anchor portion (1200, 2200, 3200, 5200, 6200, 7200) has a connection portion formed by means of shape convergence. The connection portions of the sealing portion (1100, 2100, 3100, 4100, 5100, 6100, 7100) and the anchor portion (1200, 2200, 3200, 4200, 5200, 6200, 7200) extend toward each other and are fixed in an interlacing manner. The improved connection method realizes an interlacing connection between the sealing portion (1100, 2100, 3100, 4100, 5100, 6100, 7100) and the anchor portion (1200, 2200, 3200, 5200, 6200, 7200), such that the sealing portion (1100, 2100, 3100, 4100, 5100, 6100, 7100) is tightly attached to the left atrial appendage and occludes the entrance of the left atrial appendage, thereby reducing a probability of occurrence of endoleaks and residual shunts.
