Abstract:
Provided are a lens barrel and imaging device which make compactness in the radial and axial directions possible. A lens barrel (12) equipped with a lens barrel body (21), an imaging optical system (22), a focus ring (23), a diaphragm operation ring (24) and a sensor (26). The sensor (26) is equipped with a code plate (34), and first and second brush contacts (35, 36). The code plate (34) is provided on the inner-circumferential surface side of the diaphragm operation ring (24). The first and second brush contacts (35, 36) have a plurality of conductive contacts that are provided on the outer-circumferential surface side of the lens barrel body (21) and slide along the code plate (34) according to the rotation of the diaphragm operation ring (24). Thus, a signal is obtained from the conductive contacts of the first and second brush contacts (35, 36), and the rotation position of the diaphragm operation ring (24) is detected.
