Abstract:
The present invention provides a lens unit capable of suppressing the oscillation of a lens-holding frame, which moves along the optical axis relative to an outer cylinder, caused by a gap between the lens-holding frame and the outer cylinder without the need to increase the number of components. The lens-holding frame is housed in the outer cylinder and moves relative to the outer cylinder along an optical axis direction (OAD) which is parallel to the optical axis of a lens optical system. An intermediate holding frame (24) is a flexible cylindrical frame body made of a flexible material and constituting the lens-holding frame. The intermediate holding frame (24) is integrally provided with beam-like parts (27, 28) that act as contact parts. The beam-like parts (27, 28) come in contact with the inner surface of the outer cylinder while elastically deforming to generate a restoring force, thereby preventing an oscillation that could be caused by the gap between the outer peripheral surface of the lens holding frame and the inner surface of the outer cylinder.
