Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to reduce an insertion resistance of a lid member and to ensure a stable sealing performance of a sealing section. To this end, this lid member with a waterproofing function comprises: a protrusion section that is integrally formed with one surface of a main resin body of the lid member, which is used to open/close an opening section formed on a housing, so as to fit the opening section; and a sealing section that is made of a rubber-like elastic material, is integrally formed with the outer circumferential surface of the protrusion section, and has an annular protrusion that comes into tight contact with the circumferential surface of the opening section. The lid member has a configuration wherein the annular protrusion is shaped such that the diameter of the annular protrusion increases toward the inner side of the opening section, a tapered surface that converges toward the inner side is formed on the outer circumferential surface of the protrusion section, and a sealing surface with a arc-shaped cross section is continuously provided with the maximum-diameter section of the tapered surface.
