Abstract:
A scanning unit (20) has a plurality of reflective surfaces that reflect light that is incident from a light projection unit (10), and causes the reflective surfaces to rotate relative to a preset rotation axis, thereby causing the emission direction of the light that is incident from the light projection unit to change along a main scanning direction orthogonal to the axial direction of the rotation axis. The scanning unit reflects reflection light from an obstacle present in a scanning range for reflecting scanned light, and guides the reflection light to a light-receiving unit (30). All of the plurality of reflective surfaces provided to the scanning unit are disposed parallel to the axial direction of the rotation axis. At least one optical axis of light beams outputted from each of a plurality of light sources (11, 12) provided to the light projection unit is disposed at an incline relative to a reference surface, which is a surface perpendicular to the rotation axis.
