Abstract:
This patch is bioequivalent to existing formulations even with higher concentrations of lidocaine, is highly safe, and contains lidocaine or a salt thereof, lactic acid, and hydroxy acid with 4-6 carbons; the skin penetration rate of the lidocaine when applying the patch to the skin is within an appropriate range, and the therapeutic effect of the lidocaine is exhibited persistently over a long period of time. The content of lactic acid is 0.6-1.2 mol per 1 mol of lidocaine or a salt thereof.
