A lifting and moving mechanism, a support base, a liftable translation device, and a security inspection gate. In the lifting and moving mechanism (1), driving mechanisms (102), a circuit board (111), and screw nuts (104) are provided on a base (101), and the driving mechanisms (102) are connected to screw shafts (103). The screw shafts (103) are threadedly connected to the screw nuts (104), and omnidirectional wheels (105) are fixed to the screw shafts (103). The circuit board (111) is electrically connected to the driving mechanisms (102) so as to control the starting/stopping work of the driving mechanisms (102). In a use state, the driving mechanisms (102) are configured to drive the screw shafts (103) and the omnidirectional wheels (105) to rotate, so as to drive the screw shafts (103) and the omnidirectional wheels (105) to move up and down relative to the screw nuts (104).
