Abstract:
A light-diffusing-member manufacturing method that has the following steps: a step in which, after a negative photosensitive resin layer is exposed, said negative photosensitive resin layer is developed by an alkaline developer, thereby forming a light-diffusing part on one surface of a substrate; and a step in which alkaline developer adhering to the light-diffusing part is removed, as are parts of the negative photosensitive resin layer suspended in the alkaline developer, and the light-diffusing part is then subjected to an acid treatment using an acidic solution, thereby reducing the degree of ionization of the negative photosensitive resin layer, which at that point will have become ionized due to the alkaline developer.
