Abstract:
Provided are a light emitting element and a display device with a resonance structure of less fluctuations in brightness even in the case of dispersion of resonator optical lengths caused by the deviation of, for example, a film thickness from a design value. A light emitting element is comprised of a first reflection member, a second reflection member, a light emitting layer arranged between the first and second reflection members, and a resonator structure formed for transmitting through the first or second reflection member a part of the light resonated between first and second reflection members, wherein the resonator structure has resonance spectrum peaks at at least two or more wavelengths in a visible light area at which the wavelength with the maximum value of the spectral luminous efficiency is set as a border, and output light emitting spectra have peaks at at least two or more wavelengths based on the resonance spectrum peaks.
