Abstract:
A light-emitting element comprises: a first electrode (1); a second electrode (2); a light-emitting layer (3) located between the first electrode and the second electrode, and containing quantum dots (11) and a first hole transport material; and a hole transport layer (4) located between the first electrode and the light-emitting layer, and containing a second hole transport material that has lower solubility in a solvent in which the quantum dots are soluble than the first hole transport material and that has an ionization potential difference from the first hole transport material which is smaller than the ionization potential difference from the quantum dots.
