Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a light-emitting element including a quantum dot; and an illuminating apparatus. The present invention is a light-emitting element (1) in which an anode (3), a hole transport layer (4), a light-emitting layer (5), an electron transport layer (6), and a cathode (7) are stacked, the light-emitting element (1) being characterized in that the light-emitting layer is formed from an inorganic layer including a quantum dot. Each of all of the layers from the anode to the cathode is preferably formed from the inorganic layer. Each of the hole transport layer, the light-emitting layer, and the electron transport layer is preferably the inorganic layer formed from nanoparticles.
