Abstract:
It is possible to provide a light projection device and a rear surface projection type display device capable of suppressing moire. The light projection device is a projector (12) for applying a projection light to a lenticular lens sheet (111) having a plurality of lenticular lenses (211) arranged thereon and displaying pixels arranged with a predetermined pixel cycle in the direction where the lenticular lenses (211) are arranged. The projector (12) reciprocally vibrates the projection light in the direction of arrangements of the lenticular lenses (211) with a wobbling amplitude based on the pixel cycle for wobbling the pixels. The display device according to the present invention is a rear surface projection type display device (1) having such a projector (12).
