Title:
LIGHT RECEIVING ELEMENT AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2022/209231
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a light receiving element capable of suppressing a reduction of a photodiode region of a pixel. The light receiving element is provided with a pixel array wherein a plurality of pixels capable of generating electric signals in response to incident light from the outside are arrayed. Each of the plurality of pixels is provided with a photoelectric conversion region of a first conductivity type that performs photoelectric conversion of incident light, a pixel separation part that insulates and separates adjacent pixels from one another, and a pinning region of a second conductivity type formed between the photoelectric conversion region and a side wall of the pixel separation part. As seen in a plan view, the plurality of pixels are arrayed in a honeycomb structure wherein corner parts where a plurality of sides intersect form obtuse angles.
