Abstract:
[PROBLEMS] There are provided a light scan device, an image display device, and
a retina scan type image display device whose size can be further reduced. [MEANS
FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] The light scan device includes a vertical scan system for
scanning the incident light flux in a primary direction and a horizontal scan
system for scanning the light flux scanned in the primary direction, in a second
direction intersecting the first direction. The light scan device includes
relay optical system having at least a collective mirror (106) arranged between
a galvano-mirror (19a) in the vertical scan system and a galvano-mirror (21a)
in the horizontal scan system so as to introduce the light flux scanned in the primary
direction by the galvano-mirror (19a) in the vertical scan system, to the galvano-mirror
(21a) in the horizontal scan system.
