Abstract:
This light source (1) is provided with a light emitting tube (3A) for containing a light emitting section (2) for emitting light; a light guide tube (3B) having one end connected to the light emitting tube (3A) and guiding the light, which is emitted from the light emitting section (2), to a light outlet window (4) provided at the other end; and a reflecting tube (9) inserted and affixed between the light outlet window (4) of the light guide tube (3B) and the portion at which the light emitting tube (3A) and the light outlet window (4) are connected, the reflecting tube (9) having an inner wall surface which is a reflecting surface (9a) for reflecting light.
