Abstract:
A light source section (33) having a white LED (40) is arranged on the side surface
of a light guide plate (36). The white LED (40) is composed of a first white LED (40a)
and a second white LED (40b) having different chromaticities. In a chromaticity
diagram, a white area is divided into two areas by a dividing line passing through
a target chromaticity, light emitted from the first white LED (40a) belongs to
a first sub-area, and light emitted from the second white LED (40b) belongs to
a second sub-area. Desired white light can be emitted from the light guide plate
(36) by independently controlling emission from the first white LED (40a) and
the second white LED (40b).
