Abstract:
A lighting unit (100) has a base (1), a light emitting apparatus (3), and a holding member (2). The light emitting apparatus (3) has a mounting substrate (3b), and a light emitting section (3a), which is provided on the mounting substrate (3b), and which has an LED. The holding member (2) has a window section (2aa) for taking light emitted from the light emitting apparatus (3), and is disposed on the light emitting apparatus (3) side opposite to the base (1), and the holding member is formed of a heat-conductive resin composition that holds the mounting substrate (3b) between the holding member and the base (1), said resin composition having electrical insulating characteristics.
