Abstract:
A line displacement evaluation method that evaluates line displacement that occurs in a press-molded article during press-molding whereby character lines are molded. The line displacement evaluation method is characterized by having: a cross-section profile acquisition step in which a cross-section profile of the press-molded article is obtained, said cross-section profile being measured so as to traverse the character line molded in the press-molded article; a quaternary differential function calculation step in which a quaternary differential function for the obtained cross-section profile is calculated; and a line displacement evaluation step in which line displacement is evaluated on the basis of the calculated quaternary differential function for the cross-section profile.
