Abstract:
The present invention relates to a positive electrode which is characterized by containing an Mn composite oxide having a tetragonal structure represented by formula (1) Lia(MxMn2-x-yYy)(O4-wZw) (wherein 1 < a ≤ 2.6, 0 ≤ x ≤ 1.2, 0 ≤ y, x + y < 2, 0 ≤ w ≤ 1; M represents at least one element selected from among Co, Ni, Fe, Cr and Cu; Y represents at least one element selected from among Li, B, Na, Mg, Al, Ti, Si, K and Ca; and Z represents F and/or Cl) and a composite oxide having a lamellar structure represented by formula (2) Li(LixM1-x-yYy)O2 (wherein 0 ≤ x < 0.3, 0 ≤ y < 0.3; M represents at least one element selected from among Co, Fe, Ni and Mn; and Y represents at least one element selected from among Mg, Al, Zr, Ti and Zn). The present invention is capable of providing a lithium secondary battery which has high capacity and excellent cycle characteristics.
