Abstract:
Provided is a casing structure for a linear-motion drive apparatus (1) for which the assembly operation has been simplified by eliminating the prior need to provide a ring-shaped bearing projecting in a stepped fashion for providing support at the outer periphery of the casing using a caulking-machine mold, or to use an interposed rubber sheet during caulking press-bonding, and performing the wiring-connection operation for a connector (91) or a wiring substrate (92) to a wiring-connection pin (11b) in a previous step for accommodating a gear case (3) inside an outer case (2). A gear accommodation part (31) and a motor accommodation part (32), for accommodating, respectively, a reduction gear means (12) and a motor (11), are formed in a cylindrical gear case (3); and on the arc surface of the gear case (3), a communicating recessed groove for installing a power supply member is formed using a recessed groove section (311) formed in the gear accommodation part (31), and a groove section (61) formed in the side of the motor accommodation part (32) interposed by a groove-shaped bushing (6), and when the outer case (2) is fitted on, a configuration is achieved for forming an inflow path for the flow of a liquid sealant (7).
