Abstract:
This link actuation apparatus is provided with: a parallel link mechanism (10) which couples a tip-end link hub (13) to a base-end link hub (12) via at least three sets of link mechanisms (14) in an attitude-changeable manner; an attitude control drive source (11); and a control device (2). The control device (2) is provided with an abnormality detection means (4) including: a measurement unit (5) which measures a specified status value that is affected by an abnormality in rotational paired parts in a link actuation apparatus body (1) composed of the parallel link mechanism (10) and the attitude control drive source (11); and a determination unit (6) which determines, from the measurement result of the measurement unit (5), whether there is an abnormality in any of the rotational paired parts. The measurement unit (5) measures, for example, rigidity or a drive torque.
