Abstract:
A liquid cartridge (30, 30K) includes: a cartridge body (130) having a liquid storage chamber (32, 33), a liquid supply sleeve (75) having a distal end portion, a seal portion (76) disposed at the distal end portion of the liquid supply sleeve (75), a cap (79) fixing the seal portion (76), and a snap-fit mechanism (74) engaging the cap (79) with one of the cartridge body (130) and the liquid supply sleeve (75). The snap-fit mechanism (74) includes engagement surfaces (179A) and a pair of projections (180). Each projection (180) includes a pair of engagement pawls (181) engaged with the corresponding engagement surfaces (179A). The pair of engagement pawls (181) of each projection (180) includes a first engagement pawl (181) protruding in a crossing direction, and a second engagement pawl (181) protruding in a direction opposite to a direction in which the first engagement pawl (181) protrudes in the crossing direction.
