Abstract:
Provided is a liquid cooling cable for a charge socket of a new-energy electric vehicle, comprising a socket housing (4), two liquid cooling jacks (1), DC+ and DC-, provided inside the socket housing (4), and a number of signal lines, and further comprising two liquid cooling electrodes (2) for connecting with DC+ and DC- poles of a vehicle-mounted battery and two liquid cooling cables (3) respectively connected between the DC+ liquid cooling jack (1) and the DC+ liquid cooling electrode (2) and between the DC- liquid cooling jack (1) and the DC- liquid cooling electrode (2). Each liquid cooling cable (3) comprises a soft wire (3.3) for conducting electricity, and a cooling liquid internal channel (3.1) and a cooling liquid external channel (3.2) for cooling the soft wire (3.3); the end of the cooling liquid internal channel (3.1) and the end of the cooling liquid external channel (3.2) that are connected to the liquid cooling electrode (2) are respectively in communication with a liquid inlet (2.1) and a liquid outlet (2.2), and the ends that are connected to the liquid cooling jacks (1) are in communication with a communication chamber (1.1). Without increasing the diameter of an existing cable, a current carried by the charge cable is increased from 250 A at present to 600 A, and it can be ensured that the temperature increase of the charge cable is within a controllable range; at the same time, user requirements with respect to the charging time of the electric vehicle are met.
