Abstract:
Provided are: a liquid crystal aligning agent which is capable of forming a liquid crystal alignment film that exhibits excellent adhesion to a sealing agent and a base substrate, while suppressing afterimages due to AC driving; a liquid crystal alignment film which is formed from this liquid crystal aligning agent; and a liquid crystal display element which comprises this liquid crystal alignment film.
A liquid crystal aligning agent which contains the following component (A) and component (B).
Component (A): a polymer containing at least one substance selected from among polyimide precursors and polyimides having a protecting group which is replaced by a hydrogen atom by means of heat
Component (B): a polymer containing at least one substance selected from among polyimide precursors and polyimides having a urea group and/or a thiourea group
