Abstract:
In order to control crosstalk between a pixel electrode and source line to reduce flicker, a liquid crystal display device is provided with: a gate line (102) and source line (105) provided in the form of a lattice; pixel electrodes (111) provided in the form of a matrix, corresponding to the intersecting positions of the gate line (102) and source line (105); transparent auxiliary capacitance electrodes (109); and switching elements (121) which apply to the pixel electrodes (111) an image signal voltage supplied from the source line (105), in accordance with a scanning signal provided from the gate line (102). The switching elements (121) are constructed using an oxide semiconductor layer (104), and the transparent auxiliary capacitance electrodes (109) are provided between the source line (105) and the pixel electrodes (111).
