Abstract:
Disclosed is a liquid crystal display device, comprising a liquid crystal box. The liquid crystal box comprises a first substrate (10), a second substrate (12) and a liquid crystal layer (13) located between the first substrate (10) and the second substrate (12). The first substrate (10) at least comprises a transparent base (11), metal wiring (14) disposed on the transparent base (11) and towards the liquid crystal layer (13), and a first polariser (16) disposed on an outer surface of the transparent base (11). The liquid crystal display device further comprises a solar cell (15) arranged on the transparent base (11) of the first substrate (10) and located directly below the metal wiring (14). The first polariser (16) comprises a hollow region (161) revealing the transparent base (11). The solar cell (15) covers the hollow region (161).
