Abstract:
Provided are two liquid crystal display devices and a quantum dot LED. A fluorescent powder layer (112, 220) is provided on a light exit side of an LED chip (111, 210) so that the fluorescent powder layer is excitated by a first wavelength of light generated by the LED chip to generate a second wavelength of light; a first quantum dot material of a quantum dot layer (120, 230) is excitated by the first wavelength of light to generate a third wavelength of light; a second quantum dot material of the quantum dot layer is excitated by the first wavelength of light and the second wavelength of light to generate a fourth wavelength of light, the third wavelength of light being less than the second wavelength of light; the color of the third wavelength of light being the same as that of the second wavelength of light, thereby reducing the excitation and transformation of the second wavelength of light on the first quantum dot material. Under the condition that a color coordinate is met, the light exit rate required for a high color gamut can reach without additionally increasing the concentration of a green quantum dot material so that the usage of the quantum dot material is reduced, and costs are controlled.
