Abstract:

A liquid feed device for an exhaust gas aftertreatment device, comprising a heat retaining device (40) installed to retain the temperature of a pipe (3) for supplying an aqueous solution of urea (U) stored in a tank (2) to an exhaust gas aftertreatment device (100). The heat retaining device (40) further comprises a selection part (50) which, when determining that the aqueous solution of urea (U) is frozen in the pipe (3) based on the flow state of the aqueous solution of urea (U) in the pipe (3), selectively outputs an ambient temperature signal (S2), and when determining that the aqueous solution of urea (U) flows in the pipe (3), selectively outputs a tank temperature signal (S1). In response to an output signal (S3) from the selection part (50), a drive current (Y) necessary for retaining heat is supplied to a heater (17A).
